Distressed Flower

4.01.2009

For this card I started by scoring lines1/2" apart. After I scored my lines I rubbed sand paper over the lines to distress them. Then I took a piece of patterned paper and stitched around the edges. Then I cut out four circles for my flower and four leafs, I cut mine by hand but you could use punches. After all my circles and leafs were cut out I wrinkled them up to give them a distressed look. I layered all my circles and stitched a button in the center, I layered the leafs and added them to the side. Last but not least I stamped my sentiment onto the tag and added it to the bottom of the card.
