2 Page Halloween Layout

Hello everyone! Today I have a two page 12 x12 layout to share made with Close To My Hearts Scaredy Cat Collection. I used a fun little 2 page sketch called "Disappearing Act" from Close To My Hearts Magic How To Program.

For the left side of the page I used a 12 x12 sheet of Sunset cardstock as my background, a large sheet of patterned paper, and a 5 x 7 photo mat. To the left side of my cardstock I added the square stickers that spelled out "Halloween" for my title. I also added the the broom riding witch and a few stars from the Scaredy Cat Complements sticker sheets to the upper right side. You can see a close up below.

For the right side of my 2 page layout I used another 12 x12 sheet of Sunset cardstock for my background. Then I added two different sheets of patterned paper to the bottom half of my layout, added my three 5 x 3 photo mats and a 5 1/2 x 2 journaling square. For the 5 1/2 x 2 journaling square I used a vellum quote and adhered it with two stickers. For the upper right side of my page I stamped a large spiderweb in black ink, added the large haunted house sticker, and added two googly eyed bats. I think the little googly eyes give the bats some character.

When I started this two page layout, the main things I knew I wanted to use were these amazing large sized stickers from the Scaredy Cat Complements sticker sheets. I just love how fun and versatile they are and they really add to a layout.

EEK!

Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing another fun themed Halloween 12 x12 layout that I created with Close To My Hearts Scaredy Cat Collection. I just can't get enough of this spooktaclaur collection, once I started creating with it I couldn't seem to stop. For my layout today I used a cute little sketch from Citrus Twist as my starting point. You can check out the sketch HERE.

For my title I added the large "EEK" sentiment from the coordinating kraft sticker sheet (you can check out a close up of all the stickers below). I just LOVE these cute little stickers, they are super sticky and match perfectly with the patterned paper. I also added a kraft banner, a few cardstock triangles, a thistle circle, some black sequins and a few bitty sparkles along the left side of my layout.

I really love 12 x 12 layouts that feature smaller photos, it makes it so much easier to show multiple photos. My two photo sizes for this layout are 3 1/2 x 2 1/2. I added a few embellishments towards the bottom right of my page to go along with all the embellishments I added to the top left. Thanks for visiting!

Warmest Wishes

Hello everyone! I'm stopping in for my second post of the day. Earlier I shared a purple themed tag for Paper Wings Productions Blog Hop and Giveaway. You can check that post out HERE. I'm sharing this colorful Christmas card and submitting it for Stacy's Holiday Cards & More Link Party over at Paper Crafts Connection. You can check out the challenge HERE. I used Hero Arts large Christmas Tree from the Joy Of Christmas Clear Stamp Set as my main focal image. I started by stamping the tree in Staz-On Jet black Ink and then I colored it with some green markers. I added some blue ink to my background with an ink dabber and then stamped over the tree with some white ink to give the tree a frosted look. Last but not least I added my "Warmest Wishes" sentiment to the bottom of the tree, distressed around the edges, and added some stitching. Thanks for visiting!

This months theme is the color "purple".  All of our designers are showcasing their favorite shade of purple along with some amazing Paper Wings Productions products. So get comfortable and enjoy the hop.

I love purple so this was a fun challenge for me. I used a light shade of purple patterned paper with a few bright orange splatters as my tag base and then stamped Paper Wings Productions Sunburst Clear Stamp Set in a dark purple to the right side of my tag base. I then stamped and fuzzy cut one of the beautifully ladies from the Vintage Domino Melange Cling Stamp Set. Before I added the vintage lady to my tag I added a bright orange piece of cardstock behind her, I wanted to bring out some of the bright orange paint splatters that was in the patterned paper. I also added a fun little border to the top and bottom of my tag by stamping one of the small circle patterns from the Scared Geometry Clear Stamp Set and then cutting them in half.  Make sure to hop along because one lucky winner will get a $25.00 gift certificate to the Paper Wings Productions online store.

Boo!

Hello everyone! It's hard to believe Summer is almost over and Halloween and Christmas will be here before we know it. I like to get ahead start on all of my holiday projects whenever I can, it makes holiday time a little less stressful when you get things done ahead of time. All month long I will be sharing and creating a bunch of different Halloween layouts and projects with Close To My Hearts Scaredy Cat Collection here on my blog and over at Jessica's Craftin' & Stampin' Blog. Today I am sharing the first Halloween layout I created for the month with the super cute collection.

I used a sketch from Citrus Twist as my starting point. You can find the sketch I used HERE. I just loved the fun three photo sketch when I spotted it and thought it would be perfect for a Halloween themed layout. I stuck pretty close to the original sketch but I did change a few things like the quote bubbles and journaling.

I used two sheets of patterned paper from the Scaredy Cat Paper Pack along with lots of embellishments from the Scaredy Cat Complements Sticker Sheet. I just love the Kraft colored "Boo" sentiment, tombstone, and bat. I also added a few colored sequins all around my page and I just had to add some goggle eyes to the little bat. Check him out below!

I hope you enjoyed my fun little Halloween themed layout today. I just love this collection and have been having so much fun with it. I will be back every Wednesday with a new 12 x 12 layout featuring this super cute collection. Thanks for visiting!

Festive Wonder / CTS #90

Hello everyone! I'm back today to share this colorful Christmas card that I created for this weeks sketch challenge over at Cas(e) This Sketch. You can check out this weeks sketch below and all the challenge details HERE. I'm also submitting this for this weeks Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge and Stacy's Holiday Cards & More Link Party over at Paper Crafts Connection.

To create this card I started by cutting a small square sheet of patterned paper from Echo Park's Season's Greetings Collection and attaching it to the bottom left of my card base. Then I stamped, paper pieced, and colored the cute little ornament from Hero Arts with some lime green stickles. While my ornament was drying off to the side I stamped the little tree branch onto some dark green cardstock and cut it out. After I had my little tree branch cut out and my ornament assembled I used a little piece of sliver thread and a small piece of wire to attach the ornament to the little tree branch. You can see a close up below! Thanks for visiting!
