Quick Little Masculine Card / Curtain Call Anything Goes

Hello everyone! I'm back today to share this light blue and orange masculine card that I created for this weeks Curtain Call Inspiration Anything Goes Challenge. It's Curtain Calls 1st anniversary and they are celebrating with a fun Anything Goes themed challenge and that's not all, there loads of sponsors offering some pretty amazing prizes! Check it out HERE.

I decided to create a colorful little masculine card for the challenge. I pulled out some striped paper, some matching cardstock, a light blue ink pad, and a fun little airplane stamp from Technique Tuesday. I usually have a hard time creating any kind of masculine card but this one came together pretty quickly.

Weekly DT Projects

Hello everyone! Today I'm stopping in to share a few of my most recent Design Team projects for Nani Ke Ola and Paper Wings Productions. First up I have a cute little Holiday themed card to share that I created and shared over at The Aviary for this weeks Spotlight Sunday Post.

I used two of my favorite Christmas stamp sets to create this one. The large Santa image from the Vintage Santa Cling Stamp Set  is so festive and fun and the little "Merry Christmas" sentiment works so well with it. Of course there are endless possibilities with the Christmas Mix It Up Clear Stamp Set, there are 11 stamps in this collection and their perfect for mixing and matching.

Next up I shared two different layouts over at Nani Ke Ola yesterday for my very last post. The first layout I created with Glitz Design's Black & White Collection and the second layout I created with Chic Tags Cloud 9 Collection. First up is my Sweet Moments layout.

I used both sides of Glitz Design's 12 x12 Woodgrain sheet of patterned paper for my background. After I had my background put together I added some red paint splatters and some hand cut flowers from one of the 6 x 6 sheets of patterned paper to the top right and bottom right of my layout.

I created my little photo frame with a stamp from Paper Wings Productions Snapshot Framer Clear Stamp Set and then layered a few strips of patterned paper from the Black & White 6 x6 paper pack behind it.  I also used some of the cuter little sentiment stickers from the 12 x12 Alphas & Words sheet.  Next up is my Happy Notes layout.

For my background I used a 12 x12 sheet of gray cardstock and a large strip of Chic Tags Dreamy patterned paper.  I just love this fun patterned paper.

To accent the fun patterned paper I used a bunch of different embellishments all around my photo. I used some cloud chipboard embellishments, a few colorful buttons, an acrylic tidbit, a mini icon, and a few label and sentiment stickers. Hope you enjoyed my projects today and Thanks for visiting!

XO Layout

Hello everyone! I'm stopping in to share this cute little layout I created for Nani Ke Ola. My layout is all about Love, well hugs and kisses that is. Before I get to all the details I thought I'd share that Nani Ke Ola is currently having a Design Team Call. It's a great team to be apart of and I'm going to miss being on the team. Jennifer is accepting applications now through July 20th. Good luck!

I used the fabulous 12 x 12 Striped & XO  patterned papers from Glitz Design's Black & White Collection for my background. I left the striped paper whole and added some hand ripped XO patterned paper to the top and bottom of my layout.

I used some of the fun circle alphabet  stickers from the Black & White 12 x12 Alphas & Words sheet to create a cute little title.  I also matted my little photo with some white tissue paper and a red polka dotted sheet of patterned paper from the Black & White 6 x6 paper pad . After I had my photo matted I added a wood veneer heart from Elle’s Studio along with some sliver sequins and a cute little stamped sentiment.

For the top right of my layout I added the XO journaling card from the Black & White Bits & Pieces sheet along with a few sliver sequins and a wood veneer heart from Creative Embellishments. Thanks for visiting today!

This month our color theme is Yellow. So get comfortable and let us fill your day with the warm shades of yellow, enjoy the hop!!

For my card I used three different cling stamp sets from Paper Wings Productions and of course I had to use lots of yellow. I started by stamping the large " May your life be like a wildflower growing freely in the beauty and joy of each day" sentiment from the Wildflower Cling Stamp Set in the middle of my cardstock.  After I had my sentiment stamp I inked up the black eyed susan's from the Black Eyed Susan Cling Stamp Set and randomly stamped them all around the sentiment. I wanted my card to look like an old vintage card so I added some background text in chocolate ink and then colored my flowers. To give it an even more vintage feel I crinkled it up a few times and distressed the edges before adding a border and stitching. Make sure to hop along because this months main prize is a $25.00 gift certificate to the Paper Wings Productions online store.

I just had to play along with this fabulous sketch...that little monster is too cute. I thought it would be fun to pair this cute TweedleDum & TweedleDee image from Viva Las Vegastamps with this "This is pure happiness" stamp from Elle's Studio.

I stamped TweedleDum & TweedleDee in black and then colored them with some watercolored pencils. After my image was dry I added some colorful splatters across my background and added some stitching around the edges. For the finishing touch I hand cut a little speech bubble out of white cardstock and stamped it with my "This is pure happiness" sentiment. Hope you enjoyed and Thanks for visiting!

Hello everyone! I thought I'd stop in and share a few of my most recent Design Team projects for Nani Ke Ola and Paper Wings Productions. First up I have a card and a layout to share that I created and posted over at Nani Ke Ola Friday!

For my card I used some stamps from Technique Tuesday and paired them with some patterned paper from Prima’s Cartographer 6 x 6 paper pad and some chipboard pieces from UmWowStudio. I thought all the stamps, patterned paper, and chipboard matched perfectly. Next up is the layout I shared!

I used the 12 x12 Celebrate sheet of patterned paper and the 12 x12 Lovely sheet of patterned paper from Chic Tags Cloud 9 Collection for the base of my layout. After I had my two sheets of patterned paper sewing together I added a large photo and a bunch of different embellishments from the Cloud 9 Collection. Joy-Glitz Design's June Project Challenge

Hello everyone! Today I stopping in to share this cute little 3 x 3 mini card I created for Glitz Design's June Project Challenge. This months challenge is all about mini's, you can check out all the challenge details HERE.

For my mini I used two sheets of 6 x 6 pattered paper from Glitz Design's 77 collection and two different stamps from Paper Wings Productions. I used one of the lovely ladies from the Vintage Domino Melange Cling Stamp Set as my main focal image. I started by stamping the image in orange and then I took a black ink pad, inked up the lovely lady again and stamped it directly over the orange one. I like how the orange ink just barely peeks through the black ink. I also wanted to pull some of the brown out of the patterned paper  so I stamped some text in brown to the right of my image. Hope you enjoy and Thanks for visiting!
Supplies: Cardstock- White / Patterned Paper- Glitz Design's 77 6x6 Paper Pad / Paper Wings Productions Cling Stamp Set- Vintage Domino Melange & Text / Paper Wings Productions Clear Stamp Set- Snapshot Framer / Versa Color Ink Pad- Topaz & Bark / CTMH Ink Pad- Black / Tag Die- Sizzix / Button Sting- Black / Sulky Thread- White / Sewing Machine
